We are inspired and excited by our new library - a long overdue necessity for Eugene. The reality of a beautifully equipped functional building, made possible by this private fund-raising effort, has made us even more proud of our community.

Ted Baker
The Campaign for the
New Eugene Public Library

Since 1984, the Eugene Public Library Foundation has sought private support to improve our Library's services. One example is the New Book Brigade, which purchases new books in subjects of the donor's choice. The year 2000 Club endowment has met its goal, with earnings supporting reference and other critical collections.

The Foundation has successfully raised 5 million dollars for Eugene's New Library. Over 2500 donors from our entire community helped make our new library a source of pride for all.

The Eugene Public Library Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, separate and independent of City government. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible as provided for by law. Gifts can be made through cash contributions, bequests or transfers of stock or other property.
