Library Love-in Feb 8, 2024
Join us in the Bascom/Tykeson room at Eugene Public Library downtown on February 8, from 5:30-7:30 pm, to fill out and decorate postcards that tell local elected officials how much our community loves our library.
All materials (postcards, art supplies, postage) will be available, as well as contact information for your elected official.
All ages welcome! Refreshments served!
Can't make it on Feb. 8? You can download and print your own postcard here: eplfoundation.org/advocacy
The link to download the postcard is at the top of the page, along with a link to find your ward and your elected officials' contact information.

On the first three Thursdays, we will screen three documentaries:

The final Thursday (Oct. 26), will feature a panel discussion with school, library, and community experts. Each week, activities will be provided onsite in the program room for up to 15 kids.

Announcing Booked for the Evening April 2022
Eugene Public Library Foundation is pleased to invite our community to Booked for the Evening at 6pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Valley River Inn. Booked for the Evening is the Foundation’s premiere benefit event, raising funds and support for Eugene Public Library.
This year, we will fundraise for Eugene Public Library’s new Library of Things. The Library of Things will lend physical items that help community members unlock knowledge, explore interests, and share with each other.
Thank you to Northwest Community Credit Union!
At the virtual Imagination Library Luncheon in September, the credit union announced funding of $250,000 over 5 years for the Imagination Library of Eugene. This funding will enable us to serve all of unincorporated Eugene. It will also support United Way in closing the existing gaps of coverage in all of Lane County. As a result, beginning in January, 2022, every child in Lane County from birth through age four will be eligible to receive Imagination Library books in the mail.
